  • Furniture Styles By: Alli Anderson
  • Queen Anne Style
    • I picked these chairs because they have a very delicate look to them. It uses designs from the 18 th century, and is still used commonly today.

  • Chippendale
    • I thought this was a good example because the bench has floral prints like lots of Chippendale furniture. Today the style is used a lot in chests and includes French and Rocco styles.

  • Hepplewhite
    • This chair is very simplistic and delicate. It reminds me a lot of Queen Anne Style furnishings. It has neoclassical chair legs.

  • Baroque
    • This shows lots of good characteristics of size, scale, and proportion. It also has lots of reserved curves. The baroque style influenced the Italians greatly, and was big in the 17 th century.
