the main dominant character e.g. Lara

Positive affects of video games on
the body
•New technology such as brain
training can help with memory and
also numeracy and literacy skills
•Platforms like wii fit and kinect
promotes fitness
Negative affects of video games on
the body
•Video gaming can be become a
mental health addition
•Scientist have linked it with ADD and
ADHD
•Can affect an individual’s educational
achievement

•Can lead to social isolation
•Video games have been linked to
poor relationships with friends and
family
•Video games can also help some kids
to bond and socialize through this

society’ will be discussing:
How video games have evolved and become more
realistic and addictive
The negative and positive effects video games can have
on the body
How video games are used different around the world
And how the disposal of video games affects the
environment
In this episode we’ll be exploring:
 The change in video games in the last 30 years
 How violence in video games have be both good and bad
for children
 As well as how video games negatively portray groups in
society
In the intro to the

Over the years as technology advances so does the quality of video games
As they become better in quality they become more realistic and interactive which causes them to be more
addictive
Franchises like Grand Theft Auto that have been around for the past decade keep up with their growing
audience by making their games more life-like, for example the main character in the game can change its
appearance in a variety of different ways, have girlfriend and buy houses in different houses in the game
The life-likeness in the video games affect society as gamers feel they can relate to the content in the games
they become addicted and easily influenced by these games
