The study analyzed data from 6,151 online questionnaires to examine variations in orgasm occurrence by sexual orientation. The results showed that women experience more variation in orgasm than men, but orgasm experience depends on sexual orientation. Heterosexual women reported orgasm during sex with a familiar partner at a rate of 63%, significantly lower than the 85% rate for heterosexual men. Rates also differed by sexual orientation, with homosexual men reporting the highest occurrence of orgasm at 90%.
