You continue to use the recycling boxes
and trash bins in the usual way.
A Customer Service Representative arrives in a mobile shredding truck
on a predetermined schedule, is escorted by an HR/Admin rep at each
office, removes business materials from the consoles (bins), then
immediately shreds the documents and electronic media at the truck.
All shredded documents, in the form of confetti-sized pieces,
are transferred to a recycling facility. An Environmental
Certificate is issued to Allianz Global Risks US annually,
quantifying the number of trees saved. We benefit from the
improved security of document destruction and the ease of
use of the document shredding process.
After all documents and electronic media have been
destroyed, a Certificate of Destruction is issued to the
HR/Admin rep before the truck leaves, ensuring that no
confidential or internal materials leave our offices intact.
At the end of the workday, you gather all
confidential and internal documents and
media for shredding that you used in the
office that day. You don’t need to remove
binders, staples, clips, cases, or coverings.
