7. Immediate Surrounding of the Site
The sea front, which measures approximately 1.5 Km,
defines the eastern boundary while the northern and
southern edges of the 2 Km long site are defined by the pine
forests. At the narrow end of the site there is a range of hills.
8. Topography of the project site
The land then rises steeply toward the hill. The
extensive treatment of the landscape surrounding the
villas has graded the slope according to the terraces and
gardens that result from the development.

The coastal areas of Turkey have a temperate
Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild
to cool, wet winters.

10. Historical Background
Bodrum is the main focus of the region whose ancient
Greek was Halicarnassus.
The surrounding area is full of red pine forests, olive
groves and citrus orchards, make the region exceptional
for tourism.
