 The Thought process was born when Mr. Vinayak Bhivare ( SM ) was sharing
his experience of his training - Sastravidya to the Managers.



 The Idea was then initiated by Mr. Sumit Jain ( DM-Ops).



 Then Mr. Sumit & Mr. Vinayak sat together & discussed the Planning &
Implementation Part of it. The further slides will give an insight into it .

GROUP ALLOCATION

o Approx 108 people are to be trained.

o They were divided them 7 groups , so that each batch will consist of approx 15 people.

o The training will be held for 1 hour.

o For training 3 days were identified, i.e Monday (3 batch),Tuesday(2 Batch),Friday(2 Batch).

o At the time of allocating Batch , it was ensured that every section is left with at least 1
Manpower .

o WH Team & Cashier Team were also included.

CLASSROOM DETAILS

 There was a place vacant i.e. SOTC counter , So it was temporarily occupied as
“Gyan Pravah” class room .
 Classroom accessories :
o A white board with Markers & Duster.
o A watch which 1 Core Member got from home .
o 18 Chairs , which were managed from Fun Zone.
o A Table , which was there for Scrap .
o We covered the room with Old Flex of VM.

o We finished the basic planning on 01st September 2011 .



o Then we thought lets put up some teasers to attract the Team.



o We made Teasors of all the subjects & Even made few in Regional
Language , i.e Marathi .

LAUNCHING
o The day has finally arrived , Gyan Pravah was Launched on 26th Sep as promised.
o At 2.15 Pm There was paging that all Staff Kindly Contact Gyan Pravah Room.
o Approx. 50 Staff Gathered.
o The Launching was done by cutting a ribbon by a Inspiring Team Member –
“Shraddha”
o It was Followed by Peda Distribution to all staff .
o At last it was followed by a Launching cum Inspiring Speech By our SM –
  Viyank Bhivare

      The First batch took place on 26th September Monday, followed by 6
    bathes that week .



      Every batch will be learning the same things in a week so that store will
    be on the same line .

1   ST    WEEK TEACHING –“GK”
    “ G E N E R A L K N OW L E D G E A B O U T M Y T E A M ”


                                Session Flow :

o We started the batch by giving Batch & Pen

o Than we divided the entire batch into the team of two for the Introductions .

o The Trainee was judged on the bases of Communication , Eye Contact , Body
          Language & the parameters were explained prior to Introduction.

o Each Participant were given points & Feedback too .

o There were Three Puzzles gap in between to make the Training Interesting.
2 ND WEEK TEACHING –“GK”
        The Entire session was divided into 3 parts

 Business Basics         Retail Basics       Value Of Zero

o What is Business.   • History Of       oNumber of Zeroes
                                         in Crores , Lakhs .
o Top Line Vs         Retail.
                                         oMillions , Billions.
Bottom Line.          • Organized Vs
