2. Magazine Logo
The magazine’s logo is
Present on all magazine’s
contents pages as it
keeps the reader
knowing which magazine
They’re reading.
Front Cover
This gives the reader a reminder of
The front page and does yet more
advertising for the magazine so that
People will buy the magazine again.
Page Number
The huge page number of the
Main story, double page. You
literally cannot miss it! This means
That you are nearly guaranteed that
The reader will read the main spread.
Multiple pictures
These show a lot of what
is in the magazine without
people even having to delve
Deeper into the magazine. It
Gets people interested straight
Away!
Contents
These lines show what
Is in the magazine and
Keeps the reader interested,
It leads them to the articles
That they want to read quickly.
Main Picture
This main picture shows
What the main double spread
Article is going to be about and
Immediately gets the reader’s
Attention.
Issue Number
This shows what issue the magazine is so
that in the future, if they want to look back
to see when different bands have been
on the cover, they can. If someone wants to
collect all the editions of the magazine
then they can tell what order they’re in and
if they’ve missed any.
Colour Scheme
Matches the colours one would
Associate with the genre of the
Magazine.

3. Magazine logo
This is the same on all magazines
And reminds the reader what they’re
Reading as well as broadcasting to
Those in the immediate vicinity
(perhaps looking over their shoulder)
that this is the magazine being read.
Main Picture
In this magazine, there is only
One picture on the contents
Page of the magazine which
could be to emphasise that
this magazine isn’t as busy as
the last one was. It could also
emphasise genre of music
and make the reader focus on
that one main double page
spread article.
Big Title
The title of this contents
page is immediately
noticeable, which is
probably the point as this
genre of music is trying
to make a point without
being to busy or
extraordinary like the
rock in Q magazine.
Whilst being abnormally
sized and spaced, it is
still smart and controlled
in a way.
Contents
This is a lot smaller
than the lines in Q
magazine and in a
much neater font,
again showing that
Rock is busy
whereas this genre
is rather neat and
controlled.
