Recruitment email Sequence
This document outlines a suggested email sequence that can be used to track
responses to adverts.
Tips on response handling
Here are some hints and tips on maximising the impact on your email sequence:
1. Answer them as soon as you receive them – do not delay.
2. Use a formal business like email address – I use ttmlm.co.uk
– not any of my personal email addresses. does not give a business like
impression.
3. Have a signature on your email that gives them information about you.
Mine includes Founder (which I am at my company) just to add a certain
something. Call yourself Marketing Executive, or Recruitment Director,
etc. It's up to you. You're trying to make them feel a bit special and also to
show that we are professional.
4. Use a contact database or card system or book system – whatever, to track
the responses. Alternatively, use folders in your email programme, e.g.
Outlook, and move the emails as people pass through the sequence.

8. Dear NME

These are exciting times for our company as we have ambitions to embarked on a
massive expansion programme. This expansion can only be achieved through a
significant increase in people working for the company.
Many roles are available, each tailored to suit each individual's particular
requirements.

decided not to pursue an opportunity with us, then please let me know and I shall
remove your details from my system.

E4 – Assume that you’re not interested
Dear NME
In response to your application of some time ago, I sent to you information about
the opportunities available. I have had no response from you even though you
expressed an interest in wanting to change your present employment
position. Experience has shown that one of three reasons usually accounts for
your lack of response:
1. You are no longer interested
8
9. 2. You have been away on holiday or secondment
3. The emails have been lost in the Internet somewhere
I did manage to recruit a number of people at the time and since our business is
still growing (and is ahead of target) we still have many opportunities available.
Therefore, if you are still interested, I would still like to meet you. Please let me
know one way or the other.
NME, I certainly do not want to waste your time. I am hoping, however, that
you will take the opportunity to at the very least learn more about what you are
potentially missing. Should you require more information or have any questions
feel free to contact me again. If you want to find out more on line and book a
telephone interview, then go to
In the event that you are not interested in pursuing this opportunity, please let
me know and I will remove your information from my system.
Either way, I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
E5 – Meeting Reminder

meeting call me or text me my contact details are at the foot of this email.
I am looking forward to meeting with you and discussing your future.
Kind regards
9
10. E6 – Thanks for the meeting
Dear NME

found the meeting interesting and that it gave you sufficient information with
which to make a decision. If not, then please let me know and I will answer any
questions. Take a look at my website: www.ttmlm.co.uk for additional
information that might help. I shall give you a call soon for a chat.

E7 – They didn’t turn up
Dear NME
I am sorry that we did not meet as planned yesterday. I would still like to meet
you and am in (mention when and where) If you still would like to meet, then
please let me know and we can agree a time/date that is convenient.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
E8 – Sorry to hear that you’re not interested
Dear NME
Thanks for your email/phone call and for spending the time considering the
opportunity for which you applied. It’s never too late to make that life changing
decision but the sooner that you do, the sooner that you can reap the rewards.
The rewards range from freedom of time, freedom of money, freedom that
comes with working for yourself, etc. And this lasts forever. We have many
roles from very part time to full time.
Essentially, we were all looking for financial freedom but more importantly
10
11. running one's own business gives serious freedom of time. If your concern is
running your own business, then consider that the business receives a free
franchise on how to conduct its business, there are minimal start up costs and
you operate within a corporate framework that helps and supports you every step
of the way.
Finding out more costs you nothing apart from some time and you have to
consider whether you owe yourself that exploration.
The Trust MLM is a fundraising agency acting on behalf of charitable
organisations registered in the UK. TTMLM was established in order to help the
Orphan children and the most vulnerable and needy Eritrean refugees in the East
of The Sudan.
Our primary focus is on the orphans and widows; and they are the weakest,
poorest and must vulnerable members of any society, and the most affected by
poverty. We are dedicated to helping the Orphans and widows in need regardless
of their gender, religious belief or ethnic origin.
May I ask one more favour? I take it that my approach failed to provide you
with your goals. What was it about this opportunity offered that initially excited
you enough for you to apply and why you do not feel that it will not satisfy you?
NME, I certainly do not want to waste your time. I am hoping, however, that
you will take the opportunity to at the very least learn more about what you are
potentially missing.
Kind regards
O1 – Overseas initial email
Dear NME
Thank you for your application to join our organisation.
I am actively seeking to help people who seriously want to change their present
circumstances and it appears that you fall into that category. I would very much
like to meet you. Are you intending to come to the UK? I hope so, and then we
11
12. can meet and discuss the ways in which you can head up a new Global Resources
team in COUNTRY.
I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting.
Kind regards
O2 – Overseas second email (before they come to UK for
meeting)
Dear NME
Thank you for agreeing to meet me. The rest of this email outlines the
opportunities available. Before you leave COUNTRY, I thought that I would
give more information about the opportunities available.
Essentially, all roles are self employed but within a corporate frame work all
earnings are entirely effort related and success related.
Therefore, we would like someone to be our main contact within COUNTRY
to whom we can direct future enquiries.
Our meeting will cover the following:
THEN THE BULK OF THE A1 EMAIL GOES IN HERE
Kind regards

12

4. Start a list of your contacts
