1. GXM Google Emailers – Policy Manual
Introduction:
Hey, my name is Dan, and right now I am looking for what we call a Tot. There are
three main groups of people on our team. Tots make less than 10K/month, TTs
make 10K-20K/month and Terminators usually make about 100K/month. We don’t
hire “VAs.” We hire badasses, but as it is in almost everything everyone starts at the
bottom and works their way up. There are ways to speed this process up, more on
that later.
Tots are generally involved in initial contact with a group or organization we are
considering working with, for this project, Tots will be emailing potential partners
in our Goodwill Experiments, where we help grow businesses with no expectation of
anything in return (including payment). It helps us introduce ourselves to
businesses in the area – and many end up becoming clients.
You will always know exactly what to expect from us, and be given extremely
detailed policies and instructions on how to carry out your projects, and in return
we expect the same from you.
General Description:
1) Each week, you will be assigned a certain kind of company, these companies
might include Landscapers, lawyers, doctors etc., and each day you send emails, you
will find your assigned type of company in that area.
Here are the areas you will be contacting:
Day 1: Rhode Island
Day 2: Massachusetts
Day 3: Connecticut
Day 4: Maine
Day 5: New York
Let’s say you have been assigned “Landscapers.” And it is Day 1 of the week.
2) First, you’d go to google.com and search “Landscapers Rhode Island” A list will
show up something like this:
2. 3) Click on each link that is CLEARLY run by an individual landscaping Company.
Here the first link “A Cut above Landscaping” is clearly run by a single company, and
isn’t a listing company or a news article.
4) Each website is a little different, but you’ll want to look for the “Contact Us” or
“Contact” page. Sometimes an email is listed on the home page, but this rarely
happens. Usually, what you’ll find on this page is a window like this:
3. Or an email just printed out like this:
5) If you run into the case above, fill out the section that says “Name” with your
American name, email, with the email you made for this project, and phone number
with the phone number 401-424-1209. Fill out the message area with the message
below. If there is any area for other things, leave them blank.
If you are only given an email address, open up your email client and send an email
as the one below.
In any case, make sure you send the following message.
Make sure to replace the (blank) with whatever type of company you are emailing
4. and to replace (American Name) with whatever name you are using to do business
in America.
If you don’t have one, use “Sean” if you are a man, and “Karen” if you are a woman.
I’d recommend copying and pasting this email into a document, replacing the two
necessary items, and then copying and pasting the new email to make things
easier…
NOTE: REMEMBER TO REPLACE “(blank)” and “(American Name)” the correct
way!
BEGIN EMAIL:
Subject (ONLY IF SENDING VIA YOUR EMAIL): Love to get your input on this…
Hi, I got your email from your website.
Right now, we are working on our Goodwill Experiments,
where we help grow a business without any expectation

If you think that’s you, you can listen anytime to our 24/7
45 second voicemail with more information here:
401-424-1209

Example of the above email correctly filled out for Landscapers, by a man named
“Phil”:

6) Continue clicking on each website of the type of group you are contacting, finding
a way to email, and email them. You should send the above email to a minimum of
100 groups that you have been assigned in EACH of the 5 states we detailed above.
There will be more than enough to websites to complete this.
After each day, to confirm you have completed your day’s work, fill out this form:

Make sure to fill this form out to get credit for your work – this is how we make sure
you are getting the work done! (and the calls we get in from the areas you were
assigned).

Compensation:
As the Odesk Ad stated, I am offering an emailing position at $1.50/hour for 2-3
positions. (or more if they impress). Here’s how this works.
1) You read through this document, understand what is required and believe you’d
be this is for you.
2) Send me an email at dan9the2man@gmail.com, with the subject line “Dan, I’m
6. ready!” and the body “Dan, I have read all the policies, I believe that I am the kind of
person you are looking for. I understand I must start my trial within 24 hours of
receiving a state to start calling in. Please assign me a type of company to start
emailing.”
2) If there are spots left in the trial, I will assign you a type of company to email.
3) You will complete a 5 day UNPAID test, where you will email 100 companies each
day as described above. So for example, if you were assigned landscapers, on day 1,
you’d go to google and search Landscapers Rhode Island. There should be more than
enough groups to email to reach your 100 company minimum.
Here, again are the areas you will be emailing each day:
Day 1: Rhode Island
Day 2: Massachusetts
Day 3: Connecticut
Day 4: Maine
Day 5: New York
4) We are going to be choosing the top 2 or 3 emailers to hire for at least 2-3
months, ideally a 6 month contract.– so if you want to make sure you are in that
group, I would recommend sending more than 100 emails daily – maybe 200 would
be a good number to shoot for.
OK – if you are ready to start, send me an email that you are ready to
start at dan9the2man@gmail.com!

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Section:
After sending this out to a fair number of people, here are the main concerns I am
getting, and their answers:
1) What email do I send my emails from?
You can use either your current email, or set up a new free one with yahoo, aol,
gmail or hotmail. I’d recommend setting up a new email so you don’t miss
responses.
2) When do I send emails?
It helps if you send them when Americans are awake, for those of you in the
Philippines this means after 6pm in the evening to 5am in the morning PHILIPINO
7. TIME roughly.
No. If they are clearly written by the same people, don’t send them all an email.
4) How do I get paid?
You will get paid by Paypal. If this is a problem, Odesk payment can be arranged, but
it may take a few days for this to be set up. Please specify this if you are hired, after
your trial.
