2. 1. The Yeats museum.
The
first place our class went to was the
Yeats museum.
The entire exhibition was interactive, we
were able to read the original
manuscripts of Yeats poems.
The focus stays mainly on the works and
writings of Yeats, but his life is also
explored.

4. 2. National gallery of Ireland
Next
we went to the National gallery of
Ireland which houses the Irish national
collection of Irish and European art.
A tour guide gave us a brief tour around
the gallery, showing us six very different
pictures from different eras.
My favourite was properly “the opening
of the sixth seal” by Francis Danby due to
it’s very striking message and its unique
history.

7. 4. Bog bodies
After lunch, our class went to the
National museum of Ireland to have a
look at the bog bodies.
It was really amazing to see the
preservation of these bodies, despite the
fact most of them dated back to
between 400 BC and 200 BC.
