Science and technology are increasingly global and collaborative, but the experience for secondary students rarely reflects this reality. Most international STEM opportunities are competitions – science fairs, contests, and Olympiads – but there is an alternative. MILSET is a global network of organizations that spans 84 countries, dedicated to engaging youth in STEM through motivation, cooperation, and networking. Expo-Sciences (non-competitive science fairs), Young Citizens Conferences, and STEM Leader Congresses offer a world of STEM opportunities for youth, and the adults who support them. Learn more about the organization, its programs and events – and how your school, organization, or country can get involved.

MILSET supports its member organisations to engage youth in science,
technology, engineering, mathematics, and the arts (STEAM) through
motivation, cooperation, collaboration, networking, and sociocultural
interchange.
We do this by:
Helping member organisations create a local or national environment
to motivate youth to be involved in STEAM;
Connecting, supporting, and representing member organisations
around the world;
Stimulating and supporting international youth networking and
cooperation through STEAM; and
Providing member organisations with global opportunities to engage
youth in STEAM.
