Masthead Design: The masthead is KERRANG!, in BOLD, white with a black background.  Brand Identity: KERRANG! = sound of a power chord on an electric guitar.  Appeal to Audience: Mainly male audience that listen to Rock & Metal music.
Front Cover: Usually Metal or Rock band  Conventions: Catchy Masthead, usually a metal band on the cover  Design: Colour Black and White mainly  Brand Identity: Youth Brand for Rock Genre, this because by the grungy urban fonts used.  Black and White colours that suggests masculinity and street smarts.  Appeal to Audience: People that listen to Metal or Rock music
Target Audience & Relationship: - Mostly Teenagers It’s targeted to people interested in rock genre. It’s likely to be more male orientated due to the urbanistic layout of the front cover, as well the sex role stereotyping of different genders.
Values: Kerrang! brand values are based upon Rock, Metal and similar music should be played loud. It values the genre of Rock because of the artists that are featured in the magazine such as Metallica and Slipknot. Kerrang! has these values as this is the way that music should be listened to and playedn.
