students do not ‘like’ theory.
Hence, my ‘theory’ is that most people in this
room will not like or value theory…

and your ‘writing’ of the 750 word reflective

1. Theories of reflection
2. Policies relating to the sector
3. Theories that inform practice in the sector

Signify to the marker that you are aware of your
strengths, weakenesses, opportunities, threats in your
imminent placement.
Signify that you are aware of the policy context of
your placement (i.e. NOS, EYFS, National Curriculum etc)
Signify that you are aware of the influential theories
that influence day-to-day practice in your placement
sector.
Signify that you are aware of theories of reflection
and that you can apply them in your writing.
