Founded on 1st April 2013, the single national improvement body for
NHS England, driving quality improvement, and transformational change across
the health and care system .
Our aim
“To embed improvement and change expertise through science, knowledge and skills, so
that improving quality and outcomes can be everyone’s business, in an ever changing
environment.”

capability building strategy

create new knowledge and lead to innovations
• Explore connections between other initiatives ( communities or practice)
led by many different organisations
• Join with the health foundation, NHS Improving Quality, Universities UK,
to create a set of innovative design principles and ways of really
harnessing the potential and strengthen the experience and impact of
fellowships
