3. Widening Participation (WP), third sector and
the university
This partnership recognised the opportunity for a
learning framework
• UHOVI (WP) (specialist outreach knowledge)
• USW (Accrediting body)
An accredited approach would be able to access the
UHOVI bursary targeting those who might be at the
furthest point from access – thus funded delivery could
be planned.

6. Reaching out
UHOVI’s aim is to reach those furthest from access –
and many forms of existing engagement can meet this
task
• Limited impact so far at community level – but the
groups and awareness of the training is increasing
• Increased engagement at campus level
• Opportunity to approach other training models for
accreditation
