• practice your initials in a minimum of two
different fonts

• do four different thumbnail sketches to
work out composition

• work in pencil ﬁrst
• draw out your name
• ﬁll in the paper with a variety of patterns
and shapes

• go over your lines with sharpie and then
erase your pencil marks
