2. CATEGORIES OF ORGANIZATIONS
For profits:
Seek gain for their owners, i.e. financial returns to keep the company
running.
Governments:
Exist to define rules and structures within which all organizations
must operate.
Non profits:
Emerge to do social good when political will or the profit motive is
insufficient to address society’s needs.
