3. It is an obvious fact that Pakistan has been a traditional enemy of India. Consequently, it is not surprising that India took the
opportunity of weakening Pakistan by supporting the Bangladesh liberation movement. From the month of September,
the Indian army gradually started to participate directly in the Liberation War. Initially the support was limited to indirect fire
support (artillery support) to Mukti Bahini units. From November, the Indian army was permitted to conduct operations up to
10 miles inside Bangladesh territory. This was to clear Pakistan army positions from the borders areas in preparation for the
December war.
Prior to the involvement of the Indian army, the BSF was primarily responsible to provide support to Mukti Bahini units. They
also assisted in the training of Multi Bahini. However, Indian army was not involved in the initial stages.
4. Since the inception, India considered Pakistan a huge threat about its security and sovereignty.
And, after Jinnah and Liaqat Ali Khan, Pakistan was ruled by some impotent politicians and dumb
military generals.
Dumb rulers of Pakistan saw Bangladesh as an inferior entity of the republic (which they were)
and treated as same. But, they didn’t know that, even though Bangladeshis were inferior, they
were almost 2.5 times in number than that of the mainlanders and historically Bangladesh was
always independent until the Brits came in.
5. India took advantage of the maltreatment of Pakistan and an ingrained trait of Muslims, i.e. to
commit treason and betrayal to their rulers. So, India managed to find a 3rd greatest traitor in the
history of the Subcontinent after Mir Zafar Ali Khan (1765) and Mir Sadiq (1799) and he was Sheikh
Mujib . Interestingly enough, this guy was an illegitimate son of a Hindu magistrate.
India and their paid traitors in Bangladesh plotted a well-designed conspiracy in Agartala to
disintegrate Pakistan so that India’s security threat could be neutralized once and for all and they
were just patiently waiting for a major blunder from the Pakistani side.
6. As India was waiting for a blunder from Pakistan, they quickly dispatched troops across the
border and started to play a mind-game. They fought zero battles but were successful enough
to make Pakistan Army believe that Pakistan Army is already cornered even though Pakistan
Army had a large stockpile of armaments and more supplies were half way through to
Chittagong.
While Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was negotiating in UNSC and the USA for assistance against India, the
idiot Army chief, Gen Niaji declared that he would surrender. Coz, he was totally out-tricked by
Indian generals.
7. India gave shelter almost 1 crore people of Bangladesh during that period
Gave training to our Mukti Bahini for Gerila Mission that’s why they could turn back in that
time,
Gave weapons to our freedom fighters which had increased our strength in that crucial
period,
On 9thmay in 1971 the prime minister of that time Indira Gandhi gave order to Indian Army
to help Bangladeshi MuktiBahini
8. On 17th May 1971, Indira Gandhi Came West Bengal to visit the refugee of Bangladesh, because
there were the largest amount of refugees.
Gandhi gave a Trans-meter to Independent Bengali Radio Station “Shadhin Bangla BetarKendro”so
that increase the power of radio frequency in that time.
India also supports Bangladesh with financial help during this time, neither Bangladesh could not
continue war that strongly.
9. In Conclusion we could stat that , instead of Indian involvement our
independence could not be achieved that easily.
