Lighting By Design, Inc. Policies and Procedures
*Fees: Design & Consultation - $85/Hr -Invoices due within 15 days.
*Initial Meeting with Prospective Client - Two hour maximum - N/C
*Estimate of Plan Design Time - includes working drawings for electrician, lighting fixture and
dimming system schedule, cut (information) sheets on all product specified, and a quote good for 90
days on all manufacturer products specified.
*Estimate of On-Going Consulting Time Needed with Electrician in Finishing Stage
*Purchase of Products for Project: Items available at Contractor Prices. Shipments are direct from
3. manufacturer or delivered by Lighting By Design, Inc. Freight will be prepaid on all shipments over
$1000 from factory, or delivered by our truck.
Invoices due within 15 days.
*Purchase of Special Items: Chandeliers, Wall Sconces, Paddle Fans, Garden or Custom Fountains -
will be quoted at our cost plus 15%
*Warranty on Fixtures and Material - One year
*Warranty on Installation (If Turnkey Project) One year
*Consulting Fees for Turnkey Projects - NONE, after initial Design Fees
*Final Aiming & Adjusting of All Fixtures and Dimming System - N/C
*Lighting requires a certain level of maintenance, as does any other investment you make in your
home or business. Scheduled maintenance can help keep your lighting as beautiful as when it was
first installed. Lighting By Design, Inc., keeps a supply of all lamps used on your design. We offer
these to you as a convenience at contractor prices. Whether you wish to replace lamps yourself or let
