2. History :
Tom and Jerry was created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. First, the
two directors created 114 shorts of Tom and Jerry, and later it became the best
animated short series of that time, overtaking Looney Tunes . Tom and Jerry is from
the United States.

4. What is it about ?
It is about the cat, Tom, and the mouse, Jerry. They are usually fighting. Tom hardly ever wins
because Jerry is very smart. In some chapters the cat and the mouse are friends and they help
each other. Sometimes there are other characters like: the dogs, the love of Tom or Jerry , friends
of each other …
It’s very fun. It is always the same but I like it. There are chapters of love, adventures, monsters…
