1. 1887-Born in kennington,London.
2. 1942- served as the commander of the British 8th Army
in North Africa.
3. 1944- promoted to the rank of Field Marshal.
4. 1945- Designated as commander of British occupation
troops.
Awarded the order of victory ,Soviet Unions highest award.
5. 1976-Montgomery passed away.

INTRODUCTION
1. During the world war 1 Montgomery served on the
Western front.
2. During the 2nd world war he was given the commander
of the 8th Army in North Africa.His victory at EL
Alamein was to turn the tide of the war.
3. In 1944 Montgomery was promoted to the rank of
Field Marshal .
4.He is best known as the hero of the 2nd world war.

The aim of this presentation is to study and
highlight the leadership qualities of Sir
Bernard Law Montgomery.

EARLY LIFE
1. Montgomery was born on17 November1887
in London.
2. His farther was sir Roobert Montgomery who
died month after his Birth.
3. he went to St.Pauls school and then Royal
Military Academy,Sandhurst.
4. On graduation he join the first Battalion the
Royal Warwickshire Regiment.

MILITARY LIFE
1. A military man his entire life Montgomery served in the
infantry during the world war 1 and getting seriously wounded
in the process.
2. After the world war 1 Montgomery command 17th Battalion.
3. In August 1942 Winston Churchil put Montgomery in
command of the 8th Army.
4. His victory at El Alamein was the turn the tide of the war and it
gave British some confidance,confirmed Montgomery’s
reputation.
5. He is best known as the hero of 2nd world war who
beats,German’s Erwin Rommel in the battle for North Africa.
