Containers are transported by a vessel to Singapore. Here, the
containers are transferred to another ship bound for its final destination.

Requirements
Our Systems Analysts/Systems Engineers are
the enablers of PSA’s reliable and advance
systems capable of handling the scale and
complexity of our daily operations.
• Degree in Computing, Computer Science or
Computer Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to pre-empt and resolve issues
• Passionate about technology
Systems Analysts provide IT solutions that
support our business operations, customers
and corporate services. They translate our
users’ requests into technical specifications
and are responsible for designing, developing
and maintaining software applications using
Java, C, C++ and Object-Oriented Technology.
Systems Engineers work closely with other
infrastructure teams to plan for system
upgrades,
systems
and
application
troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
They specialise in areas such as database and
server administration, network operations and
security management.

Job Scope
Requirements
Electrical/Mechanical Engineers in PSA are
responsible for leading a team of technical staff
to maximize the efficiency of million-dollar
container-handling equipment and systems.
This is executed through the implementation of
cost-effective maintenance programmes and
new initiatives to meet business demands.
There will be opportunities to be involved in
cross disciplinary projects that provide breadth
and depth of exposure in leadership and
management.
