4. Working Time Regulations
• a limit of an average of 48 hours a week (normally calculated
over 17 weeks)
• a daily rest period of 11 consecutive hours
• an uninterrupted weekly rest period of 24 hours (or 48 hours in
each 14 day period)
• a rest break where the working day is more than 6 hours
• a right to 4 weeks paid leave per year
