3. Women are the integral part of our country that is not only
limited to bring up the children but also to contribute
equally for the development of our country. They are such
human bodies which are made of patience, tolerance,
perseverance, strength and dedication towards their
families. They play a dynamic role in each and every
activity. Moreover, there is not even a single field left
where they have not left their footprints whether it’s about
opposition of Government in ‘Geetika’ Murder Case’ (An
airhostess, Delhi) or their raising of voices against the rape
of ‘Delhi’s Medical student’. We can clearly feel their
presence in our life and figure out what we are without
them.
4. EVERY ONE SAYS THAT RESPECT WOMAN
BUT THE
QUESTION ARISES.....
DO WE REALLY MEAN THIS?????
OR JUST TO SHOW OTHERS
WE ALL SAY LIKE THIS......
IT’S HIGH TIME WE ALL MUST THINK
OVER THIS.
5. WOMAN EMPOWERMENT???
For centuries, women were treated as less-than-
equal to men in many ways. Women were not
allowed to vote, own property, or work in many jobs.
Now that we are out of those dark ages, women are
more EMPOWERED to do whatever they want. This
means that they have the ability to choose their own
destiny, job, vote, and do anything a man can do.
When we talk about women's empowerment, we
talk about women taking more of a leadership role.
Whereas until very recently, women were
subordinates.
6. It is amazing that from an early age, women start to learn about some of the finest human
qualities like compassion, self awareness, sacrifice, service, devotion by observing their own
mothers, grandmothers and other women in their lives…
But this self awareness, compassion are only in metro cities.
In villages or in small towns still there are a lot of women who don’t
Know their rights. Women in this country are still unaware of their rights.
“ Every woman has the right to be treated with dignity and respect “
7. Why aren’t India’s women and girls safe? Who is responsible for their
safety? How should that safety be assured? Since December 2012,
these three questions have become a fixture on the national
agenda, as has the issue of safety, or more precisely, freedom from
violence. But women and girls have always thought about safety.
How could they not, when the threat of violence is pervasive and
shadows them from conception through their lifetimes? Concerns
about safety limit women’s mobility and activities and teach them to
strategize everything from timings to travel to how to walk to the
office or college toilet.
8. 1)LOW LITERACY RATE.
2)LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF SELF DEFENCE
TECHNIQUE.
3)LACK OF AWARENESS OF LAW OF ANTI-
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.
4)DOMESTIC PRESSURE FOR NOT GOING TO THE
POLICE.
5) LACK OF SEX EDUCATION IN GIRLS.
9. 1) DOWRY SYSTEM
One woman dies every hour in India because of dowry-related crimes, indicating
that the country’s economic boom has made demands for dowries even more
persistent.
2) ACID ATTACKS- Now the cases of acid attacks are increasing day by day.
3) Sexual Assault in offices- The crimes against women are not only in rural
areas but in metro areas too.... The sexual assault cases with the working
women are increasing day by day.
4) Rape Cases-The 23-year-old woman paramedic who was gangraped in a
moving bus and then dumped almost naked on a street in Delhi on 16th
December 2012.
And now the recent rape case with the reporter in Mumbai!!
5) Eve teasing- It is also a major problem facing by country today.
10. IS INDIA REALLY PROGRESSING????
IT’S A HIGH TIME !!!! WE ALL SHOULD
TAKE THE ESSENTIAL STEPS TO MAKE
OUR COUNTRY A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE!!
AND WE ’THE YOUTH’ SHOULD TAKE
THIS RESPONSIBILITY.
11. “KAB TAK”???...ITS A HIGH TIME TO THINK.
SOME PROPOSED SOLUTION TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
1) EFFORTS SHOULD BE DONE TO INCREASE LITERACY RATE IN INDIA.
2) FAST TRACK COURTS SHOULD BE INCREASED IN INDIA.
3) LAW FOR CRIME AGAINST WOMEN SHOULD BE STRICT.
4) SEX EDUCATION SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE SCHOOL CURRICULUM.
5) SELF DEFENCE TECHNIQUES SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AS THE SUBJECT
FOR GIRLS AT THE SCHOOL LEVEL.
6) SEMINARS SHOULD BE ORGANISED IN SCHOOL, COLLEGES, OFFICE
TO MAKE WOMEN AWARE ABOUT SEXUAL HARRASMENT.
7) PORN SITES SHOULD BE BANNED IN INDIA.
8) LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, ALL PEOPLE SHOULD UNDERSTAND THE
IMPORTANCE OF WOMEN.
12. In India, there is a male dominating society. Girls are discouraged
at every level. In homes, boys are given more importance. Parents think
education is only necessary for boys. Also, there is a ‘DOMESTIC
VOILENCE’ in our society. Poor people think girls/women are just
a machine to give birth to their child. Thinking should be change of
every single boy/man of this country.
Also, government is not taking necessary steps. Every rapist should be
hang to death. So, that other criminals will able to understand that
Respect for women is very necessary. Its every women right...to
live in this country with full freedom.
