1. HOYT BACON &
ASSOCIATES
Revenue Management: The firm
reviews all revenue sources with a goal
of improving top line revenues and
distribution efficiencies, including
outlets, catering and ancillary revenue
sources. We evaluate underperforming
revenue areas and also look to well
performing areas for an improved
revenue upside. We accomplish this by
reviewing the hotel’s total positioning,
revenue strategy, rates, business mix,
segment contribution, all distribution
channels, and sales department audits.
We dissect the hotel’s performance,
relative to other industry benchmarks,
and identify revenue maximization
opportunities and help the management
team execute accordingly.
Asset Management: Reviewing
forecasts and performance in a well
organized manner will uncover
operational opportunities as well as a
means to maximize revenue. Operations,
inventories, labor, utilities, capital needs,
sales and marketing are all analyzed on a
predetermined schedule to facilitate an
asset management plan and set the
appropriate benchmarks for
improvement. Often the day to day
pressures of operating a hotel preclude
the fresh perspective that is required to
make the most informed and best
business decision. HB&A has the
knowledge, expertise, and creativity, to
help your asset reach its full potential.
