UC-FC-RF Series Modules are highly integrated, high-performance, half-duplex wireless data
transmission modules. They are multi-channeled, low-cost wireless module for embedded RF
applications with transmitting power from 10mw up to 500mW, by utilizing FEC(Forward Error
Correction),Manchester encoding(Manchester), data whitening and other techniques,
UC-FC-RF Series Modules are very stable and reliable for data transmission.

UC-FC-RF103 is a low-cost, compact, low power RF
transmitting module. Its modulation can be FSK or ASK. It
adopts crystal-based high performance RFIC as its core. Its
transmit frequency can be programmed from 420 MHz to 440
MHz, It can work in wide voltage range with high frequency
stability. It usually works with RF receiving module
UC-FC-RF104.

UC-FC-RF104 is a low-cost mini-size low power
consumption RF RX module. It has optional modulation
FSK or ASK. It adopts crystal-based high performance

UC-FC-RF1023
UC-FC-RF1023 RF Transceiver is a compact surface-mounted half-duplex FSK module. It is a
low-cost small-size wireless module with SPI for embedded applications. There is an external
128 bytes EEPROM to save the data used for
frequency calibration. MCU will read the data in
EEPROM after power-on to calibrate the frequency. It
contains 64 byte FIFO buffer, which can relieve the
MCU's load while processing the data. This makes it
possible for a low-cost MCU to implement high-speed
data transmission task. The RF data rate can reach
100kbps. The module with optional FEC, CRC and
Manchester encoding can realize stable and reliable
data transmission. A line-of-sight range of 500 meter can be achieved at 433 MHz

UC-FC-RF209S:
UC-FC-RF209S is a new generation wireless transceiver module of
multi-channel for embedded applications. It is a highly sensitive and
stable wireless UART module with transfer rate between
1200-38400bps. The module is widely used in various embedded
system or equipment for its small size working in license-free ISM band.
Features
• conforms to FCC and CE standard (433MHz, 866MHz or 915MHz)
• Electric level self-adaption: The voltage changes range 3.0-6.0V as VCC adaptively.
• Long distance transmission: While the antenna height >2m, the reliable line-of- sight
transmission distance >1000 meters. (9600Bps).
• Interface: TTL; RS232 (adapter needed); RS485 (adapter needed).

UC-FC-703A
TheF703Amodule follows wireless M - Bus protocol. It has a UART interface for serial
communication and configuration. The module is pre-certified for operation under the
European radio hardware test regulations. F703A can work in S, T and R2 mode of
EN13757-4. It can work in sleeping mode with super-low power and waken up by serial port.
You only need to mount this module to user board by SMT machine. It is very convenient for
product development.
The module can be configured to be either Master or Slave. The Slave contains a unique
address; this address is appended when sending a metering message. Master will receive the
message, and get the Slave’s information then decode the message and send the data on its
serial interface.

Various base meters (water, gas and heat meters) are connected with UC-FC-703A module
via a UART interface, which constitute Wireless MBUS smart meter. The remote UC-FC-703A
module is connected to the concentrator, computers or any other meter reading system via
UART interface (hardware USB interface) to achieve remote smart meter reading.
UC-FC-703A system has a low-power mode, can be widely used in battery-powered meter
system.
UC-FC-703B
The F703B Module follows the wireless M - Bus protocol. It has a UART interface for serial
communication and configuration. The Module is pre-certified for operation under the
European radio hardware test regulations. F703B can work in S, T and R2 mode. It can work
in the sleeping mode with super-low consumption power and be wakened up by serial port.

UC-FC-704 USB ADAPTER
F704 is a plug and play wireless M-Bus USB adapter, which complies with wireless M - Bus
protocol. The adapter is pre-certified for operation under European regulations. F704 works in
S, T, R2 and C mode. It is normally in sleeping mode with super-low power and will be waked
up via USB port. Supports EN 13757-4 of S, T, R2 and C mode.
Work in 868MHz-870MHz band, in line with the European standard EN 300 220.
The USB adapter can be used for installations and maintenance of wireless M-Bus water, gas,
heat and electric meters, UART serial port to operate, control and exchange data.Low-power
design to ensure the battery life.

3. CellMesh network and devices
CellMesh is a wireless self-organizing network consisted of microcells; it carries a very strong
derivative characteristic and has a full-featured mesh structure. CellMesh has diverse
structure, distinctive hierarchy and simple network establishment logic. There is an information
collection center in every cell to form information convergence by utilizing point to multi-point
route and mesh network route. Varies geographic areas can be covered seamlessly according
to the known Cellular coverage principle. The network can either form a wireless mesh
network within a single cell by itself or quickly derivate a network covering a certain area to
form Wide Area Network
CellMesh is consisted of center node named CAC and slave nodes named DAU. CAC starts a
cell network establishment, maintains and manages the network. In a CellMesh network, DAU
node acts as data access point as well as router. DAU is responsible for data collection, and
uploads the data to CAC. Communication distance between CAC and DAU can reach a 2000
meters’ diameter coverage by seven hops relaying, hence to realize 100% collection and full
coverage.

There are multiple routes to reach destination, when one route is blocked, a second route will
be selected automatically, guaranteeing the net link.
Installing and commissioning are very easy since the networking is automatically
accomplished and optimized. Large-scale network extension and derivative also become
simple.
More than 10 million CellMesh communication nodes have been deployed all around the world,
including remote metering, data monitoring, smart home, security system, oilfield information
collection, streetlight control and so on.
L-CellMesh network
L-CellMesh is derived from our famous CellMesh network with an ultra-low power
management technology to support battery-powered devices.
L-CellMesh advanced power management technology, using synchronous sleep mode and
Energy-budget method that can maximize the battery life of the node.
Communication node works in breathing mode, data communications have a high-speed
wake up, low-speed communication mechanism, which reduces data transmission time while
increase the wake-up speed. After wake-up, using low-speed communication to ensure the
reliability of data transmission , reducing the number of data exchange , to ensure power
saving .
With full network synchronization breathing mechanism, all node are at random status initially.
After network established, CAC will let the whole network timing synchronized. All nodes within
the same network will be in sleep mode at the same time and the same for wake-up mode and
there is a neighbor node compensation algorithm to guarantee it , which make the
communication between node more convenient and timesaving, it also enable the direct
communication without wakening to reduce data transmission and current consumption. In the
communication process, the node also has self-adjusting function, improving the efficiency of
the system.
Effective energy-budget management. In the entire L-CellMesh network, the remaining energy
of each node will be different; CAC central node will analyze all the remaining energy of each
node when calculating the relay path, choose the best path as well as the highest energy path,
avoid using some key LDAU router point excessively. This enables a balance in power
consumption to increase the average lifetime of batteries.

UC-FC-652A DAU (Distributed Access Unit) is network communication module developed by

UC-FC-701
UC-FC-701 is an ultra-low power wireless data acquisition module developed by UC
WIRELESS. It works in 433MHz or 868MHz ISM license-free band. UC-FC-701 supports
frequency spatial multiplexing of multi-frequency points and frequency hopping to ensure
reliable transmission of data. Under stand-by state, it fall in sleep mode and periodically wake
up to detect signal to achieve ultra-low power consumption.
With 3.6v lithium battery, two dry reed switches, a motor and antenna plus mechanical parts of
water or gas meter, wireless meter reading and billing functions can be realized.
UC-FC-701 together with UC-FC-651A gateway to form a mesh network for metering.

Using UC-FC-701 module via Cellmesh (LP) network to operate remote water, gas, heat
meters reading as shown below, UC-FC-651A gateway can convert communication data to

UC-FC-740
Type UC-FC-740 singe phase electronic watt-hour meter(hereafter is the meter) is the most
advanced type whole electronic watt-hour meter adopted big scale integrated circuit and
practicing digital sampling technique and SMT technique by us, which is suitable for
measuring active energy in electric net with single phase AC 50Hz or 60Hz. The meter must
be mounted in the place which temperature is in -25℃~+55℃ and the relative humidity shall
not exceed 95%.And the air should not be included some harm gas, dust, mildew and insect,
etc. The meter is completely conformed to the relative requirements of the International

UC-FC-732 Wireless Ultrasonic Water Meter is composed of flow sensor, calculator (integrator)
and ultra-low power consumption wireless communication module. It is a meter which uses
advanced ultrasonic measurement technology to measure the water flowing through the

UC-FC-720 Photoelectric Direct Reading Gas Meter
Photoelectric Direct Reading Gas Meter UC-FC-720 is based on the mature, reliable and high
precision diaphragm gas meter for the base meter, adding an embedded transmission type
photoelectric direct reading module on the counter, to ensure that the real-time reading is the
same as the gas meter counter shows in any time. The meter has advanced technology, wide
flow range, accurate measurement, high sensitivity, stable performance, attractive appearance,
safe and reliable, long life and other characteristics, which applies to gas, natural gas, liquefied
petroleum gas and other gas usage metering.
Photoelectric direct reading gas meter using optical, mechanical, electrical integration
technology and absolute optical encoder principle, through transmission type photoelectric
conversion process, can accurately read gas usage. Also meter has RS485 communication
remote meter reading function, together with collection device can consist of meter reading
network and realize remote meter reading. This meter reading method is much easier in
operation and maintenance compared with other method.

power management module. The meter not only has volume measurement function for gas,
natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and other gas, but also has functions such as metering

UC-FC-722Wireless Ultrasonic Gas Meter is composed of flow sensor, calculator (integrator)
and ultra-low power wireless communication module. Using advanced Ultrasonic
measurement technology, the meter is used for measuring the gas flow through the pipe.
Wireless Ultrasonic Gas Meter has the different measurement method with the Diaphragm
gas meter, it uses the time difference method for a fixed time interval flow measurement and
diaphragm gas meter realizes pulse measurement by the electromechanical conversion.
The wireless ultrasonic water meter has wireless networking function, together with wireless

The UC-FC-301/D Series of RF Link Modules from UC WIRELESS utilizes the latest
technology in its design and manufacturing. Both the UHF and VHF models are PLL (Phase
Lock Loop Synthesizer) / microprocessor controlled, and offer one to five watts of power with
16 channel capability. Multiple functions including AC audio coupling, 1200 to 9600 baud rates
GMSK and FSK modulation capability are standard in these fully programmable wide
bandwidth RF Link Module units.
UC-FC-302D
UC-FC-302 is a synthesized 5-watt FM transceiver module, which is designed for data
transportation and voice communication. For the voice communication, it can support selected
pre-emphasis, squelch and audio amplifier. Two-point modulation with good low-frequency
response is applied in the radio that makes it a competitive choice for 9600-baud rate data
application. Compact dimension and wide range DC support make it flexible to use.

ISM Band RF module UC-FC-RF Series Modules are highly integrated, high-performance, half-duplex wireless data transmission modules. They are multi-channeled, low-cost wireless module for embedded RF applications with transmitting power from 10mw up to 500mW, by utilizing FEC(Forward Error Correction),Manchester encoding(Manchester), data whitening and other techniques, UC-FC-RF Series Modules are very stable and reliable for data transmission. Its modulation can be FSK or ASK. It adopts crystal-based high performance RFIC as its core. Its transmit frequency can be programmed from 420 MHz to 440 MHz, It can work in wide voltage range with high frequency stability. It usually works with RF receiving module UC-FC-RF104.

Typical circuit: UC-FC-RF1023 UC-FC-RF1023 RF Transceiver is a compact surface-mounted half-duplex FSK module. It is a low-cost small-size wireless module with SPI for embedded applications. There is an external 128 bytes EEPROM to save the data used for frequency calibration. MCU will read the data in EEPROM after power-on to calibrate the frequency. It contains 64 byte FIFO buffer, which can relieve the MCU's load while processing the data. This makes it possible for a low-cost MCU to implement high-speed data transmission task. The RF data rate can reach 100kbps. The module with optional FEC, CRC and Manchester encoding can realize stable and reliable data transmission. It is a highly sensitive and stable wireless UART module with transfer rate between 1200-38400bps. The module is widely used in various embedded system or equipment for its small size working in license-free ISM band. It has a UART interface for serial communication and configuration. The module is pre-certified for operation under the European radio hardware test regulations. F703A can work in S, T and R2 mode of EN13757-4. It can work in sleeping mode with super-low power and waken up by serial port. You only need to mount this module to user board by SMT machine. It is very convenient for product development. The module can be configured to be either Master or Slave. The Slave contains a unique address; this address is appended when sending a metering message. UC-FC-703A system has a low-power mode, can be widely used in battery-powered meter system. UC-FC-703B The F703B Module follows the wireless M - Bus protocol. It has a UART interface for serial communication and configuration. The Module is pre-certified for operation under the European radio hardware test regulations. F703B can work in S, T and R2 mode. In the entire L-CellMesh network, the remaining energy of each node will be different; CAC central node will analyze all the remaining energy of each node when calculating the relay path, choose the best path as well as the highest energy path, avoid using some key LDAU router point excessively. This enables a balance in power consumption to increase the average lifetime of batteries.
