AmResearch has maintained an ‘overweight’ call on the
oil and gas sector with ‘buy’ calls for SapuraKencana
Petroleum, Bumi Armada, Petronas Gas and Alam
Maritim Resources, at a fair value of RM5.70, RM4.52,
RM24.30 and RM1.80, respectively
Oil prices edged lower in Asia Friday as dealers digested
downbeat Chinese manufacturing data and tracked the
ebbing likelihood of supply disruptions in conflict-hit Iraq,
Ukraine and Libya, analysts said.
Coastal Contracts Bhd’s net profit increased 50.6 per
cent to RM48.2 million for the second quarter ended
June 30 2014, attributed to among others to a larger
deliveries of newbuild offshore support vessels (OSV).
Revenue for the quarter jumped 69.4 per cent to
RM242.37 million, while earning per share grew to 9.08
sen from 6.63 sen. Coastal Contracts declared a first
interim dividend of 3.4 sen per ordinary share.
