The Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) expects
to reduce its operational costs by between 20 per cent
and 30 per cent by 2020 with the MS ISO 9001:2008
certification.
Director-general, Datuk Faizoull Ahmad, said by reducing
the operational costs, Felda could improve its efficiency
in day-to-day operations.Affin Investment Bank has
maintained its'buy' call on Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB)
with a discounted cash flow derived target price of
RM14.70 from RM12.46.
The investment bank said that the government is
committed to the implementation of incentive-based
regulation (IBR).However, the fuel cost pass-through
(FCPT) review might be delayed andnegatively impact
TNB's short-term earnings, it said in a research note
yesterday.
The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market (KLTM) remained at
yesterday's level of US$22,150 a tonne today, despite the
fall in the metal price on the London Metal Exchange
(LME).The LME tin price fell by US$75 to close at
US$22,100 a tonne.
