What if New Zealand was able to host the Olympics and what if 'work' was included in the sporting world. One of our students is passionate about farming and this lead his inquiry.
2. I think we should include farming
in the Olympics as it would be a
great activity for farmers. It would
show how much effort they put
into shearing, milking, putting up
fences, balance for the four
wheeler and two wheeler bike.
3. An Outstanding Effort
Do you realise how much effort people put into looking
after a farm? Putting farming into the Olympics would
show the athletic abilities of farmers who daily practise
the ideals of the Olympics, just as Pierre de Coubertin
wished. Farmers could compete in these events: Building
fences, making silage and putting on cups the fastest.
They do all this work so we can have fresh milk and many
other dairy products or meat like beef and some other
stuff.
