What kind of media institution might distribute your media product
                             and why?
Media Institutions
 When it came to picking a media institution to produce and
sell my product, I began researching popular and well known
   brands to find the company which I think could help me
  more. 2 of the companies I researching was ‘Bauer’ and
   ‘IPC.’ Both of these producers and some of the biggest
 magazine publishers within the UK and both have several
 brands of magazines they frequently distribute throughout
                          the country.
Bauer
    Bauer is Europe’s largest privately owned publishing
company which offer a wide range of 300 magazines which
  are distributed over 15 countries. They publish big name
music magazines such as Q. Mojo and Kerrang. To add their
 collection of magazines, they also offer non music related
 magazine such as Heat and MATCH! This huge company
 have built up their success to the point were they are now
  distributing a staggering 38 million magazines per week
                          worldwide.
IPC
 IPC is a huge magazine and digital publishing company
within the UK who sell over 350 million copies every year.
 IPC are very well known as a good magazine publishing
company and publish popular magazines such as UNCUT
                        and NME.
My choice
    After all the research that I did about different magazine
    institutions, I have decided that Bauer would be the best
  publisher for my music magazine, ‘DOWNLOAD.’ I came to
 this conclusion as Bauer has the largest audience compared
to other publishing companies I researched and they have so
     much experience in this field as they have been in this
                       profession since 1953.
