Jeff Graunke’s
Recording Studio in a Box - $450
1. Samson CU10 Condenser Microphone ($80) - I did a lot of research on
this. It is a great microphone. Super Easy to use - plug into PC and ready
to record.
2. MXL PF-001 Universal Condenser Mic Pop-Filter ($14) - You need this
to eliminate the popping of the "P" sounds. It slips on to the Mic stand
3. On-Stage MS7701B boom Microphone Stand ($25) - I also have a mini
stand, but I much prefer this one. The floor stand allows much greater
flexibility. You can have the narrator sit or stand.
4. Auralex MAX-Wall 420- 4 panels - 2 stands ($363) - These
reduce/eliminate the echo sound in a smaller room. They absorb stray
sounds and give the audio a real deep, rich professional sound. They are
fairly large, but well worth it.
