Our platform is more cost-effective and highly
customizable compared to other software on
the market. Our Cloud Platform is the result
of 12 years worth of submetering and billing
experience.

8. You can generate utility bills online with your logo on it. These bills can be for electricity, water,
gas, heating or a combination. Invoices can be generated in a few clicks based on the metering
data. All reports and invoices are generated in both HTML and PDF formats, so that you can use
the format that fits you the best. An invoice summary is also generated to provide an overview
of the building utility consumption. You can conduct a billing simulation prior to the actual
billing date to proactively identify and correct errors. The system also has the functionality to
group multiple units under one bill; divide one bill into multiple bills for different residents live
within one unit and customize service charges in whatever way you like with our easy-to-use
self-defined formulas.
2. GENERATE UTILITY BILLS
The Cloud Platform supports both traditional mail and eBill invoicing. For mail invoicing, you
print and mail out the bills, and then enter the received cheque amount into the system.
For eBilling, the Cloud Platform sends an automatic email notification to residents to inform
them that the bill is ready. Residents then log in to the online portal and pay bills online.
For Pre-Authorized Payments, the Cloud Platform generates EDI files based on the residents’
balance. You then upload the EDI file to the bank website and payments will be automatically
deducted from residents’ accounts. All online payments will be routed to one bank account.
You can download the bank statements and import them into the Cloud Platform for payment
consolidation.
3. COLLECT PAYMENTS
After payments are collected, the Cloud Platform will generate the monthly Accounting Report
showing the total collected payments, utility payment, service charges and taxes. You can
import the data into your accounting software. We provide free integration services from our
Cloud to your accounting software. In addition, since it is common to have outstanding balances
carried over from month to month, a rolling Finance Report is generated to provide you with a
finance overview. A Remittance Report is generated monthly to show the amount of payments
that should be sent back to the Property Manager, applicable to Billing Companies only.

If you decide to use LTW’s Cloud Submetering and Billing Platform, we will work with your meter
provider to install the Cloud Submetering Adaptor program (csAdaptor) on the local meter
server. Once installed and connected, the csAdaptor will automatically send collected meter
data and real-time meter online status to our Cloud. The metering data will be plot in a graphical
format for you to review hourly energy consumption, whereas the meter online status will be
plot on Google maps for monitoring. You can download meter data through our web page or
receive it through email or web services. We can even save it to your specified FTP server or
computer. You can also upload meter data collected through other existing software to our
platform for billing.

LTW SMART METER DATABASE ENGINE
LTW Data is highly dedicated to improve system performance. We even developed our own
Smart Meter Database Engine to process the time-series and high volume attributed metering
data.
The Database Engine is designed specifically to improve the storing, indexing and querying of
the metering data. Residents and System Users can query historical energy consumption within
any time period, and the system will be able to return results within a few milliseconds.
By implementing our own database engine, computing power requirements are significantly
reduced, which consequently reduces overall system costs and the costs to our users.
LTW Cloud Platform was designed incorporating the latest research and technology in the
industry.

CLOUD-BASED PLATFORM
The LTW Submetering and Billing platform is a cloud based product - a network of remote
servers acts to connect and poll computing power together to provide this computing power on
an on-demand basis.
All meter data are collected, stored and backed up on multiple servers. The entire application
can be set up on a new server by a simple copy & paste action. Moreover, it is a pay-as-you-go
service, which means that you only pay for the amount of service used for per month, such as
the amount of meters connected to our servers and the number of invoices that you generated
per month.
LTW BILLING SCRIPT LANGUAGE
The Submetering and Billing industry is very dynamic. There are always new requirements from
either customers or the regulatory bodies, requiring constant modifications to the system. To
fulfill these requirements, LTW has developed the LTW Billing Script Language which allows you
to add or modify the common functions in just a few lines of code.
11. Solution Delivery Service
is provided to ensure the rapid deployment and efficient implementation of the Cloud Platform for your business. The two main tasks for
successful deployment are to connect your meters to our Cloud and to establish a connection among meters, suites and residents within
the database. LTW will take care of both tasks for you. All you need to do is to provide us your meter provider’s contact information and a
document that illustrate the one-to-one relationships among residents, suites and meters. We will also provide training and online videos

Energy Efficiency Management
LTW is currently conducting research and development programs
with industry experts and world-class universities to advance our
existing data mining algorithm for energy efficiency and to further
improve our smart meter database engine. Our findings will be made
available to the public, such that everyone can share in our success.
The research program focuses on finding an effective and stable
data deep learn algorithm to find energy consumption data patterns.
The analysis results will help consumers understand and define the
most suitable energy efficiency targets, as well as, offer energy usage
recommendations with minimum impact to their daily activities.
Meter Data Management
Our existing Meter Data Management application consists of 3 com-
ponents: Metering Data Collection, Metering Data VEE (Validate, Esti-
mate and Edit) and Metering Data Aggregation. The application has
been running stably for years, but LTW has never ceased to expand
its functionalities. Currently, LTW is working towards a Meter Asset
Management module, which will allow users to acquire a completed
track record of the meter, from installation management to on-go-
ing proactive maintenance, and more. The Meter Asset Management
module will be a powerful tool to help asset owners maximize their
investment return.

Roadmap to Partnership
For Meter Manufacturers and Providers.
1. Cloud Platform and stand alone software
LTW provides the Cloud Platform as our main product, how-
ever, many of our meter partners and their customers also
asked for stand alone software. As such, we offer both stand
alone software and Cloud Platform options, exclusively to me-
ter partners, to help to fulfill your business requirements.
2. Requirements and Proposal
To initiate this partnership, please contact and share with us
your business requirements. We will provide you with a pro-
posal that features our product and professional services in
a combined package that best suits your needs. The proposal
will also include a detailed service specification document,
which outlines the process of how the service will be provided
to you and your customers.
3. Agreement & Marketing
Once we reach agreeable terms, we will sign the Distributor’s
Agreement, which makes you an authorized licensee of LTW’s
submetering and billing services (i.e. stand alone software,
Cloud Platform and/or professional service). LTW will provide
you with marketing materials and training. When you promote
your meters to the customers, you can now offer the subme-
tering and billing service as a value–added service to your
meters, and start making additional profit. You are free to
mark up the price that we quote you.
4. Purchase Order
When customers purchase meters and submetering services
from your company, you will need to send a Purchase Order
to LTW. The order will cover the one-time licensing fee of the
standalone software per building, plus professional service
fee per meter. The stand alone software license fee gives the
customer lifetime usage rights of the software, whereas the
professional service fee is an annual fee that customers pay
to gain ongoing software upgrades and technical support from
LTW.
5. Installation
Once LTW receives the Purchase Order, we will install the
stand alone software on the customer specified server within
5 days. Two types of packages are available for stand alone
software (compared to 4 packages for the Cloud Platform):
Standard Metering and Standard Billing. Please note that
Professional Billing and Enterprise Billing packages are only
available on the Cloud Platform.
6. Standard Metering
The Standard Metering package provides customers with func-
tionalities to monitor meter status, manage metering data and
view metering graphs. Customers can export and download
the metering data in CSV format.
7. Standard Billing
The Standard Billing package provides customers with the
functionalities to set up the service charge of the entire build-
ing and generate utility invoices based on the metering data.
The invoice displays the resident’s current month utility con-
sumption (i.e. electricity, water, gas, etc.), total utility charges
and delivery fees. The invoice is generated in PDF format.
8. Promotional Offer
As a promotional offer, LTW will provide customers with free
access to our Cloud Platform for the purchased package.
9. Cloud Platform
The functionalities are exactly the same between the Cloud
and the stand alone software. The choice of Cloud VS. stand
alone software is up to your customer, but the metering data
can be set to synchronize between the stand alone software
and the Cloud Platform. However, the customer will need to
choose one of the 2 systems (stand alone software and Cloud
Platform) as the primary system. All operations take place
on the primary system and the other will serve as secondary
system that is accessible in read-only format.
10. Support
By offering our software with your meters, Meter Companies
are responsible for providing the “first level” of support of the
software to the customers. LTW will train your customer ser-
vice representatives with the basics of the software. LTW will
provide support for complicated technical issues. This support
mechanism ensures that you are always the primary contact
of your own customers such that you can maintain a one-stop
customer service impression.
11. Renewal
LTW will notify you 1 month prior to the service expiry date.
You will then contact the customer for service renewal. In
the case where we don’t receive your response after the due
date, LTW will contact the customer for service renewal. LTW
will notify you prior to such contact. This is to ensure service
continuity and mitigate potential business impact to the cus-
tomer. Please note that in these cases, a new contract will be
considered between the customer and LTW.
12. Contract Length
Most Meter Companies sign a 3 years contract with LTW.
13. Payment
All fees must be paid within 30 days of software installation
on customer’s servers.
