3. Buongiorno G’day Signori e Signore, Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Giorgio Torchio, I am the CEO of Zero Mile Consulting in Sydney Australia and I will attempt in a few minutes to share with You our experience between Italy and Australia.

5. To convey all this information within 10 minutes and to share with you our past achievements together with our future exciting plans both here in Veneto in Italy and in Australia is a challenge I welcome!!

7. Well, let me begin by defining the situation and to locate the subjects: Australia is 25 times larger than Italy, an extension into which we can fit the entire continental Europe.

I would also like to bring your attention that today when we talk about culture, we can not fail to be impressed by the fact that of the top 500 Universities in the World, the Australian position is extremely high. Unfortunately we can not say the same of our own and this is why I suggest to immediately commence successful and certainly most welcome active cooperation with those of the Australian continent.

15. Italy, for its part, has other equally important characteristics, such as small and medium industry, certainly throughout the food industry and much of the manufacturing sector.

16. Our reality, which also are very typical of this area and of the North East in particular, should only learn to interact more among themselves and with others. In Italy, we have professional skills that are not found in any other parts of world.

18. We are, in effect a group of Italians who sought how to combine ITALIAN creativity and technology with the typical freshness and mindset of Australia.

19. In short, we tried to find a place where there was a chance to grow and to have fun, but above all to be heard. The new technologies our innovations and also our desire for a better World closer to nature is a very strong and a well established principle in Australia.

20. Inevitably on this side, we still have to work hard in Italy, principally in certain areas of the peninsula and in particular with a different education towards young people.

21. Australia is also the country of justice. I remark on that -because of the legality we always talk a lot, and I mean that in the broadest sense, ranging from true competition and business development to the logical concept of respecting the laws and rules.

22. I would like to assure you that anyone who has ideas and who wants to accomplish something and who will raise the typical values of common life and respect, is welcomed and is encouraged in his work and life, taxes are paid, but they are also very reasonable and easily managed.

23. Within these rules there are also those dedicated to immigration, which is very well controlled and regulated and I can assure you that it is a formidable task to oppose these stipulations.

The fact remains that Australia is a young country, a place of opportunity, a place where life is good and one can focus on building something positive and permanent We here in Italy also have to attempt to implement some minor innovations in this field, but I leave, this difficult task to the local politicians as we will continue to create new technologies and innovative ways to redistribute the wealth produced on the markets.
