8. Shared Agreements
Step up/Step Out -- During discussions, we encourage our quiet Bonners to Step
up and contribute to the conversation, while also encouraging our Bonners with ‘larger
personalities’ to Step Out (figuratively) to make room for others to speak.
Don’t Yuck My Yum-- What one person may love, another may not. We ask
that everyone be respectful of others personal means of self expressions and opinions.
Communication-Station-- Keep an open line of communication! Express
your opinion and during times of strife, talk it out with the person(s) involved and not amongst
other peers.
48 Hour Rule-- If something offensive is said or done among the group, you have 48
hours to address it with the person or you must let it go.
9. Agenda
● Different scenarios: challenges, issues, or
circumstances dealing with three big skill categories

skit

opportunities to students studying that topic or previously
interested in that site)
● “Bring a friend” initiatives
17. Team Management
● Utilize surveys to gauge member interests
● Create team bonding opportunities such as social events,
with input from team members
● Create opportunities to meet in informal settings with team
members (coffee talks, Bonner Talks Lunch, etc.) for a more
holistic understanding of each member
● Have specific guidelines for behavior and disciplinary action
(e.g. probation) that are followed so that team members
know they will be held accountable
