My English teacher is boring.

CAUSE OR SOURCE OF THE
         FEELING

      Adjectives ending   -ING
 are used to describe things or people.

The film was dull, long and slow. It even
            made me sleep.
                So,......
THE FILM WAS
   BORING.
RECEIVER OF THE FEELING

       Adjectives ending   -ED
     are used to describe feelings.

The film was dull, long and slow. It even
            made me sleep.
