Hypodipsoa-an abnormally low fluid intake. It is often related
to dysfunction of the thirst osmoreceptor in the anterior
hypothalamus.
Adipsia- Complete lack of thirst or abstinence from drinking.
It is a rare condition that typically presents as
hypernatremic dehydration. The cause is usually a
hypothalamic lesion.
3. Most commonly seen as polydipsia.
Excessive thirst,Characteristically found in
diabetics.
A result of the blood sugar being too high. The
kidneys work hard to rid the body of the excess
sugar through urine, so as fluids leave the body
the demand to replace them is high.
