1. How did you use media technologies in the construction, research and planning
evaluation?
Within my media project I used many different
technologies in my construction of the music video and
within my research and planning of my digipak and music
advert.
Back within the planning stages of my project I used a SLR
camera which I was able to take some images which looked
professional. I was able to use the SLR camera well as I’m
used to using that kind of equipment. I believe that using
this equipment worked well as it gave a good focus and
some very different settings which could of been used. I
decided to leave the setting on an automatic setting for
most of the photos that I took for my digipak and for my
magazine advert, although one of the photos within my
digipak is a close up image, for this image I decided to use
a different setting which worked well, I was able to get up
close to the image without the focus blurring to much.
Overall I believe that this was a useful technology to use, I
had no problems at all using this piece of equipment and I
was happy with the results which I got at the end.

2. To then make my digipak I used a program
call photo shop. This again was a program
which I was familiar with. I didn’t have any
majors problems with the software, although
sometimes it was slightly confusing as some
of the icons didn’t do what I thought they
would do. This program on the other hand
was very useful while I was creating my
digipak, I was able to change images to
different effects such as black and white, as
well as add on unusual effects such as a
“pencilled” effect. I was able to explore lots I then decided to create my magazine

3. After creating my magazine advert and digipak, I
felt like it would be a good idea to ask my
target audience what they thought of both of
the objects which I had created. To do this I

and get answers.
