3. Plot Line
• Film opens following a femme fatale going to see a psychologist,
characters power and the fact she is a femme fatale is soon
established by proxemics and her sexual nature.
• The femme fatale then begins the session by explaining why she is
there leading to a flash back of her husband doing something to her
(not sure what yet)
• As sexual tension grows the femme fatal manipulates the
psychologist into a kiss or something along the lines of that
• Femme fatal asks psychologist to ‘Get rid of him’ for her so they can
be together then film then ends back in the office with the
psychologist telling the femme fatale that the ‘job’ has been done
and we could end the film with her not wanting him and walking
out.
4. Characters
• The Psychologist –
A fairly mysterious character, he is a character
that keeps within the codes and conventions of
a film noir protagonist.
• The Femme Fatale –
The femme fatale is a provocative character who
entices the protagonist into helping her. She follows
the typical codes and conventions of film noir.
7. What's Next…
• Next we want to develop our narrative further
by looking at every detail of the narrative.
• We will then move on to develop a script and
a storyboard.
• Once this is done we will then consult our
actors about shooting.
