Early 1986 Pascal Bauwens launched a marine style furniture
company in Mauritius. Few years later, as the industry was booming, the
company expanded it wings to outdoor furniture, named Yuni Bali
Furniture. A 2000 square meter showroom was build in Terre Rouge,
Mauritius to facilitate customers, both individuals and professionals to
furnish their home, villas and hotels more easily and convenient.
In 2008, the company opened a new office in Bali, specializing in indoor
and outdoor furniture to provide hospitality industry needs. At the same
year, the company opened wooden furniture factory in Jepara, Central Java;
and also rattan factory in Cirebon, West Java. With a solid team and more
than 100 craftsman, we are pleased to produce furniture and goods the best
quality and competitive pricing. Today, as our experience and the market
confidence, our activity increased to wide range local and exported product
for home living (FF&E) and also restaurant, hotels, villas and resorts project.
Our operations spanned the globe across Asia and Europe, as well as our
loyal client in Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives and Bali.

Yuni Design was established in 2009 by Pascal and Yuni
Bauwens, specializing in Architectural and Interior Design. We Offers a wide
range consulting in interior design and decorator to define client needs and
objectives. From our office based in Bali, we have completed interior design
project in several countries, which include private residences, villas, hotels,
resorts and restaurants.
The company has long-term expansion under sister company, Yuni Bali
Furniture; which handle supplying and producing both interior and outdoor
furniture. Since 2011, we are doing expansion and find new projects with local
market in Bali and Jakarta, further our loyal clientele in Mauritius, Maldives,
Seychelles and Dubai. Our philosophy is to work in close with our clients so

Packing & Handling
Our recommended cargo will be responsible to
pick-up the goods after getting approval from
us. This recommendation is based on our
experience working with it. Otherwise, you
may inform us of your own choice so that we
can do an arrangement. Packing and handling
usually takes time 2-3 weeks, depends on
quantity and kind of goods. Fragile items will
get more attention to avoid problem in the
container. Any damage due to bad packing and
handling from the client’s own cargo will not
be our responsibility.
Shipping
1. Sea freight has 2 ways, FCL (Full Container
Load) and LCL (Less then Container Load).
FCL can be used when you have the goods
minimum 1 container 20”. LCL can be used
when your goods less than 1 container.
2. Airfreight can be used when you need the
goods to be arrived in destination country
soon. Normally it takes 2-4 days until the port
of destination country. Or it can be used for
small items with high value as the cost for
airfreight is so expensive. Shipping time usually
2 weeks until 2 months depend on destination
country. We will inform you the schedule
when we already do booking for the container.

Design Development
We portray an idea into 3D images
visualization based on mood board and
FF&E selection. This is where we love to
explore personalized interior design options in
much greater detail so you can begin to “see”
what the end result will look like.
Not only do we discuss the different materials
that can be used for the floors, walls, doors and
railings, we might also look at selections for
lighting, ceiling design, fixtures and furniture
options along with final touches like area
carpets, furnishings, case goods and accessories
to name just a few.
While discussing all these possibilities adds to
the excitement of the project, the Design
Development also serves a very important
purpose. It’s during this process we develop
and understanding of where the project stands
in relation to the budget.
Often we may consult a contractor to put
together preliminary pricing for the
construction so we can determine the scope of
work.
Using this approach allows us some flexibility
to make changes that could be much more
complicated or time consuming if we
attempted to make them later on.
We have time if needed, to get the project back
within the budget if necessary or add items if
we discover some wiggle room.
Conceptual Design
We suggest client few choices of what they
needs and objectives into moodboard format,
including FF&E selection. Communicate with
client to ensure the design are in line with their
requirements and expectations. The written
description of a concept tries to be the
embodiment of the actual experience people
will feel when they enter a space, so it is never
the perfect way of communicating it. To begin
with it is an idea, a formation of something
that will eventually drive an actionable reality
within the interior that allows the activities of
the project to take place.
To understand the conceptual way of thinking,
which is about ideas and how they are
formulated, requires new thinking and
willingness to empty the old cupboard of
preconceptions and prejudices. The major
themes are the seven concepts of planning,
circulation, 3D, construction, materials, color
and lighting, which covers the entire spectrum
of a designer’s activity. Each of these concepts
will ultimately drive the grand concept of the
interior.

Project Management
We arrange project including drawing or
product documentation, project schedule, and
installation schedule for tender. We source the
most reliable suppliers who can supply FF&E
selected with certain specifications.

with specific focus on time, cost and

Organizing, scheduling and checking deliveries
of materials (timber, bathroom fittings,
flooring etc)
Organizing and managing the schedule of
work—ensuring the right people are on site in
the right order, thus minimizing stress, down
time and improve efficiency.
Sourcing furniture, appliances, tradespeople,
and obtaining estimates for work you want
done.
Manage tradespeople (builders, specialist
kitchen and bathroom fitters, gardeners etc).
Being on site regularly to oversee and manage
tradespeople and make sure they are doing
what was in the plan.
Technical Drawing
We provide technical drawing with
international standard. Service for technical
drawing including: Aimed clearly at designers,
this services covers all stages of visual
presentation in interior design, from early
concept sketches and more evolved technical
drawings to complex computer renderings,
models for client presentation and production
