9. Ireland mobility,
October 17-21st 2016
Programme of Study in preparation for 3rd mobility of COOL/GOAL.
'
The trees are in their autumn beauty,
The woodland paths are dry,
Under the October twilight the water
Mirrors a still sky;
Upon the brimming water among the stones
Are nine-and-fifty swans
(W. B Yeats, 1916)

Red Deer
•The Red deer is native to Ireland and has
lived in Ireland for over 5000 years.
•Red Deer are grazers and will travel large
distances consuming grass.
•The male deer has magnificent antlers
which he loses in Spring and then re-grows
for Autumn.
• Deforestation and farming have made less
room for the deer's to roam in.
•This has caused several cases of
destroying deer's that enter their land
•This has led their numbers to reduce
drastically and making them marginally
endangered.
•Their are still healthy numbers of red deer's
in Irelands National Parks.

Herbert Spencer
