11. DATA AND PRESENTATION
EXPLANATION
●
African American had more number of cases of psoriasis than
the Caucasian.
●
African American had more number of cases of psoriasis
because it’s tropical and it’s near the equator.
●
Psoriasis is more common in temperate than tropical climates.
●
Africa is tropical because it’s near the equator and it is
temperate too but comparing it to the East Indian ethnic, it’s
considered tropical.
13. DATA AND PRESENTATION
●
African American gets more humid than the Caucasian.
●
The humid makes their skin more irritant since it will be dry and if
there’s no cream used then the irritant concentration would
increase.
●
African American can get sunburned which can also cause Psoriasis.
Since, they’re in the sun most of the time, they receive more
sunlight unlike the Caucasians who live in a tropical location.
14. CONCLUSION
●
Psoriasis is mostly common in temperate location than tropical
location.
●
By looking at the data of frequency of psoriasis by ethnic
group, African had more number of cases overall and
number of cases of psoriasis more than Caucasian.
●
The educated guess was proven wrong by looking at the data.
●
Psoriasis is not common in Caucasian because the location is
mostly dry, which causes scaly skin because of season
change.
●
By looking at the Irritant Concentration graph, African
American had a higher number of irritant than Caucasians.
African American had more dry skin than Caucasians.
