In the article Fackler describes the artistic efforts of the people of Inakadate, Japan and their attempts to
create a cultural attraction. The story of Rice Paddy Art and its evolution over time from early primitive
efforts to the highly complex form practiced today provides us with an opportunity to examine the
elements of creativity:

Assignment:
List 6 of the above (your choice) and for each separate element of creativity,write a bullet point
(each minimum of two complete sentences) describing how the villagers have demonstrated the
specific trait you have listed. You must be as specific as possible and provide clear examples that
support your statements. Again, you must mention at least 6 of the traits listed above,
and again describe each example in a separate bullet (please do not write
one long incomprehensible paragraph that I need to wade through to
see if you have met the requirements).
