Dear Co-Parents,
As we have announced during our Family Day Batch Lunch last 4 September 2010, the Junior-Senior
Prom will be held on 5 February 2011 at the Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club, Shaw Boulevard,
Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila from 6-12 o’clock in the evening.
This is the much anticipated major event during the Junior Year. Preparations have begun as early as
May. Apart from the chosen venue, Venice was selected as the prom theme for being very colorful
and festive. Many have confirmed that it is a perfect theme for a romantic and fun night amidst the
greenery surrounding the venue. Meanwhile, after being treated to a food tasting occasion, the food
committee recommended VS&F.
Ever conscious of the expenses that the affair will entail, the Batch 2012 PTA and Student Council
have agreed to maintain the Prom fee at Php 2,000 to include the Seniors as per the school tradition.
The fee is intended to cover the costs for the venue, dinner, lights and sounds, stage, decors,
invitations, souvenirs, pictures, etc. As it will not be enough, we are planning to hold fund raising
activities to support the affair. In due time, we shall announce them. We also welcome donations in
whatever amount you may deem appropriate.
Payments for the Prom fee should be made to the parent treasurers of your respective sections or
Mr. Oscar Acopiado, the Batch 2012 PTA Treasurer. Mr. Acopiado and parent volunteers will be at
the entrance of the school café every Friday starting October 29, 2010 from 3-5 pm to collect your
payments. Since the Prom logistics will require a deposit, we strongly encourage everyone to pay
early in full although partial amounts will be gladly accepted. Payment for the Prom fee must be
completed by December 10, 2010.

We, the PTA officers, PSHS Administration Officials, and selected faculty, will be present during the
affair to ensure that our children will have an enjoyable night.
Once again, we count on your wholehearted and untiring support for the JS Prom by allowing your
child to attend this one memorable moment in his/her life.
