"Mera Marz" is a Knowledge Transfer system to bridge the existing gap between patient and provider by providing reliable information to education patients regarding their illness.

3. ABOUT SYSTEM:
▪ Our project is a mobile application to ensure knowledge
transfer between patient and provider(doctor).
▪ Its purpose is to educate patients about their disease and
make them feel at ease during their illness.
▪ There are barriers in doctor-patient communication and we
intent to overcome these barriers with the use of
technology

4. BACKGROUND:
▪ In our country, where literacy rate is 58%, most of the
people face difficulties while communicating.
▪ Patients don't always understand their diagnosis since they
are not educated and lack the ability to understand medical
terminologies.
▪ They prefer to talk in Urdu and in a detailed way to absorb
the knowledge communicated to them by their doctor.

5. MOTIVATION:
▪ Existing systems are in English.
▪ They connect patients to doctor and do not focus on
educating patient.
▪ Most of the existing applications target literate audience.

6. PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
▪ In view of the fact that our tagline is “Ahtiyat Zindagi Hai”,
our objective is to allow patients to take care of them by
understanding their illness and educate them about their
treatment for a healthy lifestyle.
▪ To create awareness among patients to gradually reduce
ignorance towards healthcare.
▪ To create a social impact by accommodating the needs of
underprivileged patients

7. WORK PLAN:
Research/Interviews have been conducted in various
hospitals.
Requirement Gathering has been done.
Prototype for our application has been designed.
Development of our application is in progress.
