4. About the TOEIC Test
• The Test of English for International Communication
(TOEIC) is a multiple-choice test of English for adult,
nonnative speakars of the language.
• The test uses the language of international business.
• It has two sections: listening comprehension and
reading.
• The TOEIC test is scored on a scale of 10 to 990.

5. About the TOEIC Test
• Listening comprehension has 100 questions in 45
minutes. They consist of:

• Reading has 100 questions in 75 minutes. They
consist of:

• Test strategies: context, look at the meaning of the whole
sentence to choose which word or phrase best completes
it.
