1. The Way of the Wicked
Text: Gen 6-8
Job 22:15
Hast thou marked the old way
which wicked men have trodden?

2. Gen 6:5-8
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man
was great in the earth,
and that every imagination of the thoughts of
his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the LORD that he had made
man on the earth,
and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the LORD said,

3. I will destroy man whom I have created from
the face of the earth;
both man, and beast, and the creeping thing,
and the fowls of the air;
for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the
LORD.

1 Flood (death by water for 150days)
2 Man going down in the water and out
(cleansing of the flesh)
3 Christ’s death burial and resurrection
(true baptism a man placed in Christ)

7. The olive leaf was a symbolical of
reconciliation and peace.

Noah’s flood
Let us mark the Way of the Wicked
and learn from history
Rather than repeating it.

9. The Way of the Wicked is…
I. Offensive to God.
Gen 6:5-8

The words the Holy Ghost teaches with are the
words of Scripture.
You learn the Bible by comparing Scripture with
Scripture.
You learn to be a wise man by comparing
Life with scripture.
