6. Jer 24:1
The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two
baskets of figs were set before the temple of
the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of
Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah
the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the
princes of Judah, with the carpenters and
smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought
them to Babylon.

roll: …And Jehudi read it in the ears

in the ninth month: and there was a
fire on the hearth burning before

Jehudi had read three or four leaves,
he cut it with the penknife, and cast
it into the fire that was on the
hearth, until all the roll was
consumed in the fire that was on the
hearth.
24) Yet they were not afraid, nor rent
their garments, neither the king, nor
any of his servants that heard all
these words.

words of this curse, that he bless himself in his
