lifetime value. And, trained a bayesian classifier to predict the probability of a consumer placing the order, using clickstream data.
• On-time Performance Analysis of US Domestic Flights - Apache Hadoop Streaming | HDFS | MS EXCEL | MapReduce | Shell Script:
A Map Reduce application to report the departure delay and arrival delay by flight number for all origin-destination airport combina-
tions over a specific time period.
• Business Transaction Analysis and Reporting - Apache Spark | PySpark | Spark SQL:
Data extraction and processing of business transactions, of a nationwide super market chain with Apache Spark framework. Using
SparkSQL, the processed data was analyzed and daily, weekly and monthly reports were generated to track the business on the basis
of the products sold, store location, promotions and so on.
• Apple Product and Marketing Strategy Analysis - Market Research | Shareholder Value Model | Growth Analysis:
Performed market research to understand the competitors and the market fit of apple products prior to their launch. Carried out lad-
der analysis and face-to-face interviews with the users to gauge the brand associations and the product experience. In addition, used
tools like Position Map, SWOT Chart, Value Leadership Framework, Decision Analysis Framework and Shareholder Value Models to
analyze the product market fit, evaluate the investment and devise marketing strategies.
• Data Analysis and Performance Forecasting to Optimize Freight Carrier Selection - Tableau | MS EXCEL:
Analyzed historical logistics data and built an interactive tool to assist PepsiCo’s logistics managers in making informed decisions
based on the results of the analysis. The tool aims at reducing the cost variance taking into account the carrier reputation, transporta-
tion capabilities and their price quote.
• Data Mart Implementation and BI Reporting - ETL | Dimensional Modeling | SAP BW | SAP BusinessObjects | SAP Lumira:
Performed ETL and data integrity checks to transform, standardize and load data into a data mart. The data mart was later queried to
generate reports that track the strategic KPIs using SAP BusinessObjects and, developed visualizations using SAP Lumira.
