Class Rules
1. Respect Mr. Raponi, the classroom, and most importantly, all of your classmates.
2. Raise your hand when you wish to speak, talking out of turn is not permitted.
3. Keep you hands, feet, and all of your belongings to yourself at all times.
4. Bring all of your materials to class with you everyday. This includes your Social
Studies Binder, Writing Utensil, Agenda Book, and Homework.
5. Use appropriate language AT ALL TIMES.
6. Follow directions the first time that they are given.
7. DO NOT TOUCH anything in Mr. Raponi’s room without permission.
Everything in the room is included in this rule, especially my desk and shelves.
Consequences
1. 1st offense- You will receive a verbal warning.
2. 2nd offense- A detention will be served with me after school.
3. 3rd offense- You will be sent to the Housemaster
Other things to keep in mind while in My Room
1. Always hand in your assignments on time; failure to do so will result in the
lowering of the grade.
2. Always have an SSR book with you. If you should happen to finish your work
early, please take out the book and read quietly so that others may finish.
3. If you should have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to ask,
whether it be during class or after.

2. 4. My after school days will be on Tuesdays, you may use that time for making up
exams or quizzes.
5. We will be taking part in a lot of hands-on class work, creating maps and other
things; please do not destroy any of the art supplies. (Crayons, Scissors, Glue
Sticks, etc.)
6. Please throw away all of your trash. Do not leave any of it on the floor, the
custodians and I are not here to be your personal maid service.
7. Once you enter the room, get into your seats immediately and prepare for the
day’s lesson. If I should happen to not be in the room right away, take out a book
and begin reading.
8. If a detention must be given, it shall not be served on that day. You have at least a
24-hour time period to tell your parent or guardian. (However, I am sure that
none of you will give me a reason to give a detention in the first place.)
9. There should be NO Food or beverages in class, except for a PLASTIC bottle of
WATER. This rule also includes gum and candy, neither of which are allowed.
Class Requirements
1. A thick 3-Ring Binder, a two-inch binder would be perfect.
2. Pens or Pencils: Blue and Black ink only, please no glittery gel pens.
3. A pouch filled with some crayons, colored pencils, a glue stick would be great,
but not required. Please, no Sharpies, it is hard to correct things done in Sharpie,
plus they have a terrible odor that I do not want the class to have to deal with.
