3. COMMON ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Test manager and prime customer interface working with client business and
technical teams to cover the planning, monitoring, and control of the testing
activities and tasks.
 Working, in collaboration with the other stakeholders, devise the test objectives,
organizational test policies, test strategies and test plans for various testing cycles.
 Working with Design and development to decide estimates for testing to be done
and negotiate with management to acquire the necessary resources.
 To lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of
the test cases, test procedures and test suites on daily basis.
 To provide test effort estimates and creating P & L’s for the pre-sales team.
 Reporting of daily status to project Stakeholders, create summary reports on test
status.
 Co-ordination and managing the work for the team.
 Providing UAT and Production support for UAT and Production phases of testing.
 Running and driving Triage/defect status calls with different stakeholders involved.
 To ensure that the test environments are place before test execution and managed
during test execution.
 To schedule the tests for execution and monitor,
measure, control and report on the test progress, the
product quality status and the test results, adapting
the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust
to evolving conditions.
